Offsets


Hi all
Can someone explain the offsets of mag wheels?
Will a 5.5x15 empi fit on a splitty.
what are 112 pcd and 130 pcd's

5.5 is the rim width, 15 is the mag size, and the pcd is the offset distance between the studs

15 in is diameter
5.5 width as stated
pcd = pitch circle diameter which means the diameter of the circle which would be theoretically drawn through the studs (5x205 = 5 stud at 205mm [early vw/porsche]; 5x130 = 5 stud at 130mm [porsche])

so do 130 x 4 stud only fit porches.
112 x 5 fits bay kombis but do they fit anything else
what wheel pattern fits a beetle then

4.5" 5.5" wheels will these fit all models without adapting or shortening the beam

130 4 stud PCD will fit any 4 stud VW and 4 stud Porsche. 112 will fit some Mercedes, and 4.5 and 5.5 will fit on a beetle without narrowing the beam, unless the wrong OFFSET wheels are used.
