Its probably got worn out carbs like 99% of all kombis. But hopefully with some point gap it will run OK. Check the brake pipe elbows and balance pipe
hoses. Wont take long and good karma will find you.
cheers :beer

what's the question? did I mention that the point gap was 16~18? I'm sure I mentioned that dwell was like 20deg. I adjusted the point gap
to .16 or .06 for those that like emperial. The dwell angle (I think HOPE ) should be like 49deg |

oh sorry..well I just hate doing tappets. I know its only 30min of your life but I really dread pulling off wheels and stuffing around. The funny
thing is I don't mind doing it in my late model jap cars, guess 'cause I can stand up. That could be it!! who wants to buy me a hoist to
find out if my idea is correct ? lol |

If I sold one of my kid's I'm pretty sure that I'd get locked up.......no more crusin' in the kombi let alone a valve
adjustment....won't be long before I'm making friends with the new one
Seriously don't know how I'm going to say good bye to Tom tho.

theres a bit of a slump in the market. I'm having trouble selling mine. Can I have one of yours then? Might be able to sell easier if I offer a
package deal.
