If you are talking about the rubber trim around the number plate light? It is one piece and there are 4 bolts that hold it in place along with the light assmebly they go through the boot lid and nuts on the inside hold it in place.

I have tried to buy new one but no one tried could get them this was about 2 years ago.

I used the guardbeading to make a new one

Hope this helps

From memory the big silver bit is screwed to the bigger red bit which is screwed to the much bigger red bit thats bolted to the rest of the car!

If you cant access the screws for the silver bit from underneath, lift the boot, unscrew the nuts holding the big red thing the silver thing is bolted to, remove from car, and u should be able to access the screws holding the silver bit on! clear!?

Ok Ok I get the Idea
The silver bit is held in by 2 clips I don't know what they are call but they are a circle and they push over the poles that are on the silver bit and go through 2 holes in the red bit.
you can access these from under the lip of the red part next to the number plate light if you lift up the boot lid and look you will see them you may have to cleanout the dirt to see them i think they are call cerclips. When I took mine apart to paint the red bit I broke both clips I went down to the local parts shop and bought new ones.

I hope this is better sometimes I need 2 times to get it right.LOL LOL
