T1 Brake drum widths
Just curious if anyone has the measurements for different year model front drums.
Im led to believe ovals are the narrowest?!
what year did they change to bigger drums and how much larger are they?
Are they all ( k/l pin ) interchangable without drama? i.e all k/lpin spindles are same?
Thanks for your time peoples!

Yeh, oval drum widths are the narrowest. I've been told that the later 60's (wider) drums fit on without any mods - except that you'd want the
wider shoes too..

LOL, wrong way. Narrowed beam and narrowest drums I can get to tuck in that last little bit A few mil is a few mil LOL
Was thinking oval drums may fit later spindles. Not like its a drag car so a few mill smaller isnt going to pull it up that much better is it?
hahahahahaaaaa. Vanity.
