They are Remmele heads on that beast, can tell by the 4 exhaust studs and overall shape of the heads and short manifolds.

And my normally aspirated version with 2715cc, but still with mechanical injection.
This time with 56mm throttle butterflies.

Ahh.... Dave, it wasnt meant to sound a smart-arsed question.
Perhaps the rules you race under force you to use a distributer hence my interest and question.
Rules in F-Vee preculde the use of decent ignition systems. mebbe the same for you.
Clobber like yours requires serious ignition and the weakest link in the ignition chain is a distributer/rotor button/dizzy cap assy to start with.

With all those extra air gaps and potential for crossfiring and blah

What to use?
Crank angle triggers, a pair of dual output coils(wasted spark) A simple programmeable CDI. Bulletproof and a spark strong enough to cause a heart
attack.
Add some fixed gap surface discharge plugs for reliability.
All relatively cheap, generic and reliable.
Check out the CAS looking at the right hand cam pulley in the pix below.

IMHO of course.

I didn't think you were trying to be a smart ar*e.

But I can see how you might have thought that by my response.

Some times it is hard to get the right words across.
Would love to hear some specific recommendations if you can(see other post).
Regards DB.

Ahh K m8 sry then.
I kinda included that bit just in case!!
Ur right about written text as it does not convey a subtly raised eyebrow or a particular inflection in the voice that in Aussie vernacular is often
the difference between a compliment and a downright diss!
Im having a think about that other post as we speak.
