VW squareback on "Stockinger" , SBS
Just started watching "Stockinger" on SBS at 7.30pm on Thursday night. This is a spin-off from "Inspector Rex", I think made in 1996 but the lead
character Inspector Stockinger drives a 1971+ white squareback. Lots of shots of the wagon in each episode so far, not too many Type 3's used on TV.

Great to see any squareback, not sure what year this is. Very straight, with aftermarket sunroof. Interesting to note that type 3 were used by German
police in the 60's and 70's .. i just can't imagine them catching too many get-away cars though ??
