Type 2 Wide 5 disc brake options
I'm currently in the process of doing up a 1958 Kombi and installing an EJ22.
I'm wanting to retain the wide 5 disc brakes but upgrade to discs on the front with dropped spindles on a narrowed beam.
Any assistance in identifying options would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gaz

Gary
You can put a bay window beam in and put adapters on ($). Talks to Steve Muller (kombi rescue) over on DSK forum
You can put sherman disks on ($$) http://www.volksconversions.com
You can put CSP discs ($$$) on http://www.csp-shop.de
Lastly if you wanna go porsche pattern you can put Porsche 944 brakes on but you'll need a caliper mount plate and bearing spacers
Cheers
Steve
