Restoration Beetle 1965 questions

Hi,

I've got a VW beetle 1965 model. I've put in a new engine, new gear box, new wheels, new rims, new suspension, and I'm wondering whether there is someone familiar with VW restoration around the Doncaster East area or somewhere close by - who I could talk to and ask advice on more restoration questions. If you're interested please send me a private message and I could arrange a visit.

Yes, there is a little bit of rust here and there. I'm a stage where I don't have much money but have a lot of time on my hands. I don't have access to a workshop though.

Not really too sure how to proceed ahead.

I guess to be a little bit more detailed. The carpet needs to be replaced. Some rust spots need to be attended to. A respray would then be in order. And new front seats would probably be good. And a new muffler. It sounds too loud for the ladies at the moment.
