COUNTRY BUGGY WIPER ARM LINKAGES

I ad always thought the wiper arm linkage for the Cb was the same as the carby linkage from from a Type 3 twin carb vehicle. The CB spart parts manual gives a Type 3 Part Number so I had assumed. In reality it is only the screw ends including the ball socket of carby linkage that is used as the actual linkage rod on the CB is some 120mm longer and decidedly thicker than the carby linkage. See the attached photo.

The screw end ball sockets have a Type 3 Part Number but then the ball sitting on the carburetor body does not have a part number.
The separate throttle ball can be purchased (brass fitting) here in Oz. Its made by Redlineauto.com.au.
