cb seat question
hi all
just wondering if someone could shed some light on the rear seats in a cb
were they an optional extra?
did they just use other model vw seat for the back?
was it cb only?
or were they never an optional extra but just personal
mod?
cheers

Mat,
I can answer all your questions on the rear seat for the CB but like many other options/accessories, they are like rocking horse shit to find.
The rear seat was only available as an accessory.
It was very much CB specific with all the component parts, apart from the seat holder and plate for backreat holder all CB specific part numbers.
I have also seen several homemade units over the years but they were never finished with the rolled tubing as in the front seats.
No. I dont have one ,let alone a spare one.( what a pity)
