Paprika Red

This is my old buggy- painted in the proper Paprika Red - which I believe was an old Karman Ghia colour - I have the paint out in the shed so will check a paint code.

Yes I'm thinking of painting the one I'm working on the colour. It would be great to get a code.

Guys,
I have the correct colour codes at home but I am in Europe at the moment after attending the 8th VW Vintage Treffen at Bad Camberg.
I am sure I have the correct codes for the pan as well ( its the same as early Type 3 pans.)
Will complete details in a couple of weeks.

CB FLOOR PAN COLOUR CODE

Guys,
I was given the colour mix for the CB pan as;

REF No. ACR1
010 WHITE 964.0
135 BLACK 3673.2
310 BLUEGREEN 3740.4
519 OCRE 4417.6

Thats it. I guess it makes more sense to a spray painter but it works from what I can see. KO0001 pan has been this dark grey colour.
Bill.

The Savannah Beige colour for CBs is a specific colour and code for the Country Buggy. It is low sheen and the colour code is # 578-01749.

Here are the tints and settings'-

TINTER SETTING
01012 218
05440 274
05431 305
00744 356
03038 500

The Paprika Red colour is the standard colour and I have yet to find the correct codes for the dark green colour known as "dark bronze green"

Craig,
The colour of the bumpers is still the unknown. Its a much lighter grey than the pan colour but I have not yet seen a similar VW colour code. I am still looking. I will take my CB to a couple of paint shops and try and get them to do a colour match (if possible). I also think it may be a semi gloss which adds more questions

Anymore updates on colours for the CB ?

What about the Petrol tank colour, is that the same grey as standard beetles ?
Sping plate and suspension components like the front beam, are they black ?

Maybe we could put a 'table' up for ALL the CB parts and their colours ?
