COUNTRY BUGGY MODELS

Well it had to happen eventually........

Discussions by a third party CB enthusiast are well advanced for the production of two Country Buggy models- one 1/24th scale and the other 1/43rd scale. Both sizes will be manufactured in very limited edition runs only..
The vehicles will be handmade and will not be cheap. The larger size is expected to be close to $400 and the smaller one in the $250/$300 range.
The detail of the models will be astounding down to numbers on speedos, front seating with top rail and the connecting rod between the wiper blades.
Purchasers will have the ability to have their choice of colour (using standard paint codes) and can personalise number plates with up to eight letters.
Vehicles will come with removable soft top ( not folding) and hard top in the same colour as the original factory fibreglass one. Vehicles will be a mixture of wood, metal and plastic.

I am currently looking for interested parties to provide expressions of interest in purchasing one of the models. Please send me a PM indicating prefered scale size. There will be no committment to purchase by providing an expression of interest.

Once the prototype is available (four to six weeks) I will get some detailed pictures onto this website together with final build details , limited edition production volumes and end pricing. It will very much be-first come first served basis. ( I will put it into the CB For Sale/Wanted section then)

I dont have alot more information than provided above
but PM me in need.

Guys,

Expecting to have the first mock up available within 3 weeks for review and refinement of which there is sure to be something needing rework.

The guy is a perfectionist
Stay tuned

GLAD YOU ASKED.
ONLY THIS WEEK I RECEIVED CONFIRMATION THAT A HANDFUL OF THE MODELS HAVE BEEN FINISHED.
THE GUY WHO WAS BUILDING THEM IS AN ELDERLY GUY WHO HAS BEEN SUFFERING POOR HEALTH, HENCE THE DELAY.
I DONT BELIEVE HE WILL BE MAKING ANY MORE OF THE MODELS DUE TO HIS HEALTH BUT I WILL BE GETTING FURTHER DETAILS, INCLUDING FINAL PRICING OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. STAY TUNED.
I WILL POST PHOTOS AS SOON AS I CAN.
