I Know the razor is type 3 at heart, but its well too razor edge? I don't like too many sharp or boxy edges. This car on the other hand is a nice
balance in between.
Not to say that I hate the razor...Actually??? when did I say I hated it?? I just recon it looks better.

I'll back you up there vlad, the Razor Ghias are ugly in my opinion, I've never liked them. The original Karmann Ghia is possibly the best-looking
air cooled vw, but I'd rather have a Type 3 than a Razor, even this strange and ugly Type 3.

Looks like someone smashed up the front of a fastback and thought let's use those Renault 4 parts to fix it
very SP2 looking side back windows and vents on the back quarters
but i dont think those are back doors, there no handles and no other visable gaps.
The wheel base would need to be longer like a 411/412 to be 4 door anyway

Ah, The Brazilians had so many nice models the rest of the world never got to taste. Would love to have owned a few.
As for looks, I think most type 3 & 4's and all their variants are ugly, but as I always say, looks are irrelevant when you're looking from
behind the steering wheel, that's why I own them

the first pic is of a 1970 model 2 door Brazillian Type 3 fastback,
and is not a Brasilia which were based on a type 1 beetle.
apparently the design process started in 1957 with design number EA97, but didn't start prototype production until 1967. Brazil had this model
series rather than the Type 3 everyone else made.
personally I prefer the early type 3's including the razor

Hi
This looks like a sedan version of the fastback with four door.
How about a Brazilian Ghia.

That's fugly!
The front and lights are similar to the old Renault 8.
Nice condition though, much better than my own VW.

I love the type 3's, but am not too keen on the manky looking front ends of those other jobs. As for the four doors ... think I'll stick with just
the two. Interesting find though, something different I guess
