Q for all u CB gurus
Hey guys. If one of u very knowledgeable minded people could shed some light on this issue for me I would greatly appreciate it.
If someone were to try and eliminate the reduction hubs from a cb, what parts would they need to replace? Axles and tubes, or just drums, would I need
long or short axles? Would I just need to replace the drums or what?
I'm real new to the vw world so some insight from some more experienced people would be great.
Thanks in advance.

easiest way is to replace complete box including the axles and drums...using the original box you would have to turn the crown wheel and replace many
other things..

I got KO496, looks much the same as it does in the pics in the gallery. I have a vision in my head of where I want to head with it and for now I just
want to acquire parts while I make room by getting rid of some other ongoing projects.
Did type1's change to a wider track width in the later years? Is that y there r long and short axles? Would I require short axles?
