New engine

Ok, im now the owner of a beetle and i need a new engine

Is the standard case ok and waht cubes can i get it too with a stroker combo.

So far im thinking of the following

Scat forged crank. ( biggest stroke i can get in the case). Chev journal

Oliver rods 5.7 long

Wiseco pistons.

Oliver and wiseco is because thats a supplier i can get from, plus can just get the pistons with the chev 927 pin dia and use the oliver rods that i have spare.

So what case do need for that and what has to be done to it.

2443 is as big as you can go, but do you really need all those cubes? 2165 will last longer, comes down to how much power you're aiming for. I'd recommend you go for a ride in a quick bug before you make your final decisions. And remember there are engine builders and there are engine builders. I've seen 2332 male 75 rwhp

That has always been a sticking point with me going bigger seeing some people make little HP with a big motor. I presume it all comes down to cam and heads.
