What did you do today?

Hi All,

Just thought I'd let you know that it is the last day of my Holidays and I took the Bug out with my Son before I go back to work and he goes to daycare.

Great morning driving around stopped a kiddy park for him and then took the PAC HWY for me from Brooklyn back.

I have added a picture (Still not sure how to add them to the message) not sure if you can make it out but his top has a beetle on it.

Hope you have had a good day aswell

We took the kids to the VW mechanic, so they could look at all of the Beetles and Busses. We dropped our Beetle off for a service and a bit of loving, to play with all the other Beetles for a couple days.

sound good tho, i took my 4 year old for a spin today as well! She loved the noise and sensation of a hot VW! stoked

What did you do today?

Grrr... I went to work.

What's making it harder to take than usual is the nice box of Karmann Ghia bits that was delivered this morning, and is now just sitting at home waiting for me....

Really like this thread, luv the pic of the young fella in front of Dad's wheels, he looks like he is pretty proud.

I too had a great day with my kids, bit older go to boarding school in Sydney so when they are home for the holidays we cherish the time!

What we did, oldest daughter and her Dad went for a surf and youngest came out for a swim with us and cheered us on, the dog watched from the beach had a great day!
What did mum do she had to work, someone has too aye!

Great posts all 'round! well done Greedy, huge effort there! I care for my disabled daughter and do bug stuff in between so I respect you for giving your freind a life.
I removed glass from my '69 shell to fit a new headliner, went well, try to do at least one thing on my bugs every day. Seems the vw scene is in good hands with younger families, good stuff!

Lol.... That's a killer home brew setup eh ?

I looked at three different site for vw's that I can't afford now that we just bought a new commodore.

I dreamed about working on my 62 Baja and then realised I don't have the time or parts.....

Great to see that so many of you are passing on the love of vw's to the next generation too, that how I got interested, from my old man
