Yes, that’s right Steve. Bill was talking about some of these being planned but I never saw them for sale. Does anyone know how many were made, how they were sold etc. Is this one of them? Is it “used” or being sold by the manufacturer? Will there be more available? It would be nice to know a few details.

Let me shed a little light on this subject.
The advertised model is one of 12 that were handmade by a guy in Melbourne for a committed CB enthusiast (not me). This enthusiast commissioned the build knowning that he would purchase the 12 examples and one he had them he would decide on what he would do with them. Now to this point of time 11 examples had been delivered and the other one was the one appearing on the Ebay advertising. The Ebay advertisement was incorrectly placed as this model should have been sold to the enthusiast.
This was the same models I spoke about on this forum some months ago.
Now the current situation is that the enthusiast has given away several models, is keeping some for himself and will then make the remainder available for sale. I dont know when that decision will be made or at what price that will be or how they will be sold.
If you are interested stay tuned.

they looked great Bill

He said 100 pieces...??

is that how many parts to make one up or 100 models made???

extremely inexpensive for something that rare...

I don't have that much cash to throw around at a model though.

Art.
Yep, I passed your name on earlier and you are at the top of the list for purchase of first right of refusal.
Tony,
Yes, I was lucky enough to be a recipient of a green version of the model.
Lee,
The were only 12 models made, not 100 are per the Ebay add. The seller listed 15 or so other models on Ebay as the same time where he had volumes of 100 pieces. He forgot to change the listing for the CB model.

I will keep you all advised as I know more.

models

Bill,

I would be keen for one, but I understand that demand may be greater than supply - but if it turns out any are spare let me know and I will purchase one. I would have bought the ebay one - had I known it was for sale.

Are the models all plastic ? My Dad is big into the model train and model scene and makes these sorts of things - I will run it past him and see what he thinks.

Would be great to see the green model (given my CB is green)
