[FS - QLD] 1974 L Bug Quick Sale
I'm selling my 1974 VW L Bug regretfully.
All service and parts receipts available for the past few years.
Just spent over $1000 on steering, suspension in front end and exhaust.
It has tinted windows and Sony CD player.
Runs well, Bosch distributor, new carby.
Always garaged and family owned since new.
Vehicle is located on the Gold Coast, Qld
Looking for $4000 ONO. Car needs to be sold fairly quickly so price is quite negotiable.

Hi Justin,
What size engine is fitted ? also does it have an AT single side IRS Gearbox in it ? and does it come with a QLD Roadworthy !

[FS - QLD] Repost: L Bug
1974 VW L Bug.
Regretfully having to sell due to family health issues.
The bug has had only ONE OWNER since new and has always been garaged.
• It’s the 1600cc with IRS rear suspension and front discs
• Just spent over $1000 on steering, suspension in front end and exhaust
• All service and parts receipts available for the car
• Tinted windows
• Sony CD player
• Starts consistently
• Runs well
• 12 volt electrics
• Bosch 009 distributor
• Carby was replaced about 10 years ago
• Roof lining is intact
• Bodywork is excellent
• All chrome work is excellent
• Only one minor spot of rust below the roof rail on the LHS
• Vehicle is registered until late October
• Roadworthy Cert possible depending on price
Vehicle is located on the Gold Coast, Qld and is available for inspection or test drive anytime.
Looking for $4000.

[FS - QLD] Selling Advice
I just sold this vehicle for marked price. No negotiating required.
My car has been for sale on here for a couple of months with only one interest and also carsales for a month with plenty of tyre kickers but no real
potential buyers.
All sellers should contact their local VW specialists (im not talking about the new showrooms im talking oldschool mechanics and workshops) and advise
them the vehicle is for sale and see if they can recommend any buyers or maybe even put an add up for you in their shop.
I went into Volks Mod - http://www.volks-mod.com.au/ on Friday and had the boys
down there go over the vehicle for a roadworthy. They mentioned the sale to a couple of their associates and the car sold this afternoon to one of
them. No tyre kickers. The guy knew exactly what he was buying and was happy to stay firm on price with a quick test drive.
Strongly urge all sellers to do the same.
I think I owe the boys at Volks Mod a carton for the help
