Had a great day on the new 'South Circuit' at SMP.
By the third race I was getting the hang of this tricky little track, and had all but one Mini Cooper behind me......until the last lap. David
Wheatley took advantage of my little lift-off for an oil flag, at the last corner [a few metres from the chequered flag], and slipped by. I told him
later that I 'let him past' so he didn't have the embarrassment of telling his mates that he got beaten by a VEE DUB. Results are on Natsoft.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
