[FS - QLD] 67 Beetle 1500cc - price drop!!
67 beetle with 1500cc engine. Haven't had the time or money to play with it since I bought it and now I have hospital bills to pay which means the
beetles got to go. I've been told the engine was running before the previous owner decided to rewire it - he bodged it a bit and so you will need to
sort out the electrics before trying the engine.
Currently has a Webber carb on it, also comes with a pair of old Solex carbs and manifolds if you want to clean them up a bit and go the dual-carb
route.
Beetle has 4 BRAND NEW TYRES that I put on after getting sick of trying to maneuver it around on 30 year old tyres (1 still had an inner tube it was
so old!). Also comes with steel chrome hubcaps, and chrome aluminum wheel rings.
Car has old Reg plates still on it, not currently registered.
Body and panels are in reasonable nick, has been resprayed in a colour called brocade yellow by previous owner, which is bubbling off in a few patches
revealing original colour paint.
Some rust holes in spare wheel well.
If your familiar with beetles, would probably only take a weekend or 2 to get it running.
(photos were taken before new tyres put on, have receipt for tyres if needed)

heater channels - no idea
floorpans are rusty but whole, you could just cut the rust and slap a bit of new steel in to get rid of it.

It's painted the same colour inside as well, it was a full respray.
