Good stuff Troy, I'm happy to give you a hand with some custom paint when ready - anything to help get another car out on the strip!

I'm sure we could work something out once you get the gremlins sorted mate! Maybe a primer job ala Mr Berry's car in the interim? :)

Looking forward to a match up next year some time - you'll have a lot less weight than my oval, plus a lot more tyre....but I'll have a few cc's on you...should be fun!

Heh heh - no probs - just glad your next project isn't a rotary powered rail !!!

Can't wait to see the build thread... based on what you've done with the fasty, it's sure to be a super clean piece of work.

well since db gear rebuild everything seems to be going well, i will take the car to the dyno day and to the test and tune after even though the tune still hasnt been done yet but its safe to run, running very much on the rich side, like in the 9s on the air/fuel meter. I will be getting it back to the dyno before warwick to finalize the tune and finally increase the boost.

ok heres the info you are waiting for, all went well at the dyno, car feels strong and alot better to drive but we couldnt get the power we were hoping for due to the spring in the wastegate only being able to hold 14psi of boost. Car made 208.8hp at 5500rpm and has full boost by 3500rpm and is making 175hp at 3500rpm so it comes on strong early in the rev range. I will be staying with this tune for warwick but will start looking for a heavier spring in the meantime. I will post up my dyno sheet soon..

With your old HP at the wheels and 2200lbs of weight it matches the 13.66@102.5mph.

With the new 208hp it works out at 12.8 or better@110.5mph
