top ten and the other was promotors choice, the one in the middle is from todays action day show for best modified type 3.

had a great weekend, meet a few people from the forum and got to give the fastback heaps of stick without breaking it. I was leaving the line around
4500rpm and traction was the issue with plenty of wheel spin and managed to run a pb of 8.394 @ 85.23mph, 1.983 60ft. The pretty much standard gearbox
that dangerous put together stood up to the punishment over the weekend so thanks dave for a good job.

the way you drive, a stock 1100 gearbox that dangerous re assembled would be more than enough for you ! as for the pb,must have been the wind.lol
maybe you should get mike waldron to drive for you,his nick name is errol flinn.or dick fingers.but he's fast.
jokes aside is was good to catch up and i can't wait for next year .
tell trent he snores like a bandsaw with broken tooth and i won't be sharing room's with that again.

well got the other turbo fitted this weekend courtesy of aaron letting me use his old one off a 13b and also dangerous for some machining to fit the
exhaust housing. Took it for a run this morning but had to go easy as boost is set much higher now and not tuned for it but far out what a increase in
power, cant wait to get to the dyno!!

finally got back to doing some work on the car after sitting for sometime in the garage, moved the car out and decided to take a spin around the block
but when i tried to stop i have no brakes, pedal just went to the floor. I have now replaced the master cylinder with a new one and the brakes are the
best they have ever been. Now im chasing oil leaks, well the major ones anyway replacing the pushrod seals and some machining done but dangerous and
reinstalled to find still leaking just as bad but not from them. Head studs are leaking from the head end so i will be pulling the nuts off one by one
and resealing them. GOD I HATE OIL LEAKS. I know they say volkswagons are just marking there spot but soon i will be in as much trouble as BP's oil
spill issues...hahaha. Then back to the dyno without covering it in oil like previous visit.

after resealing the head studs and letting the sealer cure i started the car the next day and drove on 500mtrs and found it still leaking, looked like
from around the barrells. Spoke with dangerous and he said if in doubt rip it out so i did and we found the problem, leaking from case savers and also
a crack in the block, check the photos below..

Its all good, dangerous has the engine at the moment and said it will be ok, its just not real good in that area when it was cast. He will seal it all
up and put it back together and just see how it goes..
