Yep, you wouldn't see any of those sharp corners if it was done by the best up this way :).

I thought you used crankshaft engineering for that type of work

Man that sucks. Its the reason why I decided to use an oxy boxer case.

I still have an alloy CB alloy case here sitting on the shelf that has a similar issue. I was having some tig welding done on the case to modify the oil control, and parts of the case where the welding was being done were just colapsing with porosity. In the end after the welding was done the porosity was fixed, but it didnt leave me with a lot of confidence in the case.

How are you going to fix this Dave? Tig and then machine the case again?

Yep, sure do Troy, CE do all my case and crank machining work. When I said 'done by the best up this way', I meant done by Crankshaft Engineering, being north of the border. The machining quality is one of the trade offs for the superior strength of the aftermarket cases.

The engine will stay in the type three until after warwick Troy tells me.

Have you tried the spark plugs yet?
The injectors have a gauze filter in the top aswell.

Hope you find it before you go to the dyno, to save money.Good luck fella!

Make sure those bloody injector rails are seating properly. You know how much of a mongrel they are to get access to in the car and once you stick your hand in that small space you see nothing....

bajachris88, no thats not my trike, i live three streets back from where that trike was. Well looks like a manifold leak was the problem, i sprayed inox around the manifold near the head while it was running and noticed a change straight away so i have removed manifolds, made gaskets and reinstalled them, just have to refit injectors tomorrow and fire it up, hope it behaves it self!!!
