I reckon the 1776 and 5 speed into the "new" Rat car.........then put the old body shell onto an IRS pan with the mechanicals from the Hellbug 76
and go racing

pictures are the thing i like to see as well.......took a heap of the green one as i stripped it and they have been VERY handy for referencing where
things are routed and mounted........
yeah shifter........gearbox won't work without it and the bush'z spot on........
rego ah huh  when everything is ready and as long as they don't
make me wash it  .........it's actually a very solid little car
from out west, but yeah might need a clean up, maybe use the green guards, decent bumpers etc.... new panint? matt white? matt black? matt grey? red
oxide? ......interestingly it has late pedal assembly with all the internals in the tunnel quite different to my other 60's beetles
