A vw really is not that competitive these days with these high tech things which u have found out the disappointing way :(,lol......

Hondas are stupidly quick and you don't need to spend big on the engines....the one in my class has only a integra engine "black top??" type R cams, type R gearbox, exhaust and tune and it's light years ahead of 75% of the field!!

Hondas are crazy things! My daily is a honda and in stock format makes 100hp per litre in naturally aspirated form.

I dream of the day when a vw can do this. I guess JPM might be getting close......

Pitty you need Kerry Packer's bank balance to achieve it!!

Other vw engine builders can make the ponies jpm is, remember there hp is different then ours. Yes he has some amazing products and bummer you need a thick wallet, actually I guy in uk Ian brown is getting a jpm built 1300cc built for his historic beetle, 9000rpm capabilities but will limit it lower for longevity, will be interesting to see if how long it lasts.

As for the Hondas they are fast and I think they can go in there own class:)

Cheers fabo

Rudie is getting around 300hp at the wheels and he has very big balls to go with it.
