Besides the visual, what is the purpose of the eyebrow ?

Lets just say the double sided tape and velcro didnt work
Lucky i have a mate that is good at fibre glassing
This time i have taken the 5 "click & turn" screws along the to and replaced them with 2 relocated screws
I have used a Sikaflex type adhesive. be amazed if this comes off.
Happier with the fit this time as it was done with the grille off.
There was a fair bit of grinding required to get a good fit
Last time it was professionally sprayed in the proper colour - where as this time i used a $10 can of Honda Shetland White

Good colour match by photo.
Now that you have it fixed permanently and looking cool, I wonder what it would look like if the sides eased up to the corners, like the eyebrows on
new stock Golf GTi's do"?

Yeah. Thought about that and tried the vinyl but didn't go there.
Thinking of a yellow VW badge and "volksfukingwagon" badge

So.... it has been a while
So what has my T3 been up to?
Well, lots of camping is one thing
I was going to get some door pockets, but the bloke making them was taking forever.
Ended up getting some Terrapodz day time driving lights off luck Phil @ the Nationals instead.
Didnt like the match with the stock orange indicators so grabbed some smoked ones to go with it
pretty happy with the look.
The povo front bumper really suits it with the black / white look
Reckon the chrome would look out of place
Also got some swivel bases.
These are for Recaro seats
Whilst i had made up some runners to the stock rails there were a few things that swung me to get these
genuine VW / Trakka bases
a grab handle slide that actually works
the swivel base
Whilst only the passenger really spins 180 you can get 90 easily out of the driver.
Thinking now how to get a mid mount table to fit.
We went up to Trundle the other day for the ABBA Festival and the swivels came in handy when the rain started and 6 of us piled into the van for
shelter, beer and a chat
