Dave did a 13.3 but had an oil down problem, Leigh was mid 13 once he found the intercooler hose that had poped off, and I did the same old 15.6......

What a top launch photo Pete.
Cheap aftermarket oil filters,
I left fairly quick after the 2nd filter came loose, before I got drawn and quartered by a couple of fully sick rotors mate. not a good night.

13.3!
Well done Dave. You've certainly done the California Look proud.
I'd love to see that little sleeper of yours doing those times. Next time I'll bring my video camera. Hopefully it'll pick up the sound
of the other spectators comments. Should be good for a laugh.
Were you operating the throttle with your foot or your hand this time??

94's, of cause:o
Hey CT, all you would have heard on wednesday night would have been the spectators cursing!! after oiling the track twice, not popular.

so everything's okay with your dub, dave?
me and girly were kinda worried when you pulled over after caning the guy you were racing for the first 150 feet. then more worried as the buckets of
oil absorber stuff ran out and more were fetched... and more worried when after half an hour and three machines had worked on it it was still oily.
people were a little peeved...
bittersweet night.. leigh obliterated a commodore much to the compere's and the spectators' delight. as per usual the dubs drew special
interest.
to cap it off (after the dragging was extended to 10:30 thanks almost entirely to the exxon-like proportions of dave's oildripper) i went to go
home and got a red light light coming round the roundabout at the gate, so went to fill up at the shell just before the motorway. i was joined by a
bunch of kids in a laser, who asked me if that was me with the oil on the track. dave's beige. miine snot green. "no." foooled by the
filling of oil at the servo, the kids wandered off after telling me that the dubs were 'fully sick'.
again a fun night. dave's beetle confused the race callers with the viagra thing. never seen a stinger before i guess.
dubs kicked some ass again, and that's what we want to see.
let sleeping dubs lie

Yep, everything is fine, just finished cleaning it up and putting on a new oil filter.
Must have been hard to clean the track, cause it was hard just to get it off the car!
The old one had a crook thread and it came loose at high revs, the rubber seal wasn't held in very well by the filter either, I won't run an
after market filter again!
