As some have pointed out its the money factor.... look at the service we get for our money... (speaking for victorians here) has anyone noticed the
number of power dips and blackouts we have had since the company went private??? and oh yeah like the possum and crow population suddenly got dumber
and dont know what substations are!!!
|
The problem is until you can find an alternative to your power the company will give worse service and charge a higher price. I worked in a
supermarket for along time. And very simply everyweek they would cut my staff back each shift( eg longer lines), charge higher prices and a smaller
range, but while ppl are still willing to go to the shop, spend more to get the same and sstand in line longer, they will continue, the only thing to
stop them from doing this will be when ppl don't come shopping there any more. So ur stuck. From a business point of view its all good, from the
citizen point of view its F#$ked |

The comeback from a user perspective is to make damage claims against the power supply company when things are damaged from power dips & spikes
etc.
Either that or install solar.
