You've not spoiled anything of mine, but the way you've told the story, he's told you he won't ping you for the plates,THEN, taken a photo. Why?
Irrespective of any assurance he's given you, that just doesn't sit right.

There is a difference between "shit happens" & kicking you while your down. That I don't sympathise with you, doesn't mean I'm laughing at you.

Most of the threads that do sympathise seem to haver their own story.
A journo wrote many years ago a line that went something like this;
Any young man who has left half a set of Mickey Thompsons at a set of traffic lights can tell you about police harrassment.

I refuse to join the "what if" brigade.
Oh this could have happened & that could have happened. From the story I read, they fucken didn't & that's the end of the story......
:cool:

Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.

they take the photo. so if you decide to contest the fine you have already they then can say 'well ive used discression... i could have done this'

when i got busted in my buggy for dripping oil ( after a big day at stockto... lucky he didnt want to take it for a spin, as the steering was ratchit as well). the cop also talked about my independant hand brake control and other stuff. he took a pic or two and i asked why. he said exactly that. if i was to contest he has more photo evidence. not word against word anymore.

As for the person with the pole in his ass (knob bus) what the f$#k are you on about runnig kids over its a f$$king huge road out in the back of no where the only people that go down there are workmen that go into the factory to work not sit out there to play handball with there kids and it was six in the morning what cop that dont want money would be up that early in an industral site where there just happens to have 1000 plus cars going down every morning they got alot more than just me so insted of being a knob and say im a person that goes flat out and endangers lives in stupid places like schools or shops try and get the full story and my mate died in a car accident and it took the cops 2 years to take the person responsable to court so i have a problem with them i did find one good which restored my faith a bit but not enough to forgive them
