VW Names

It seems most Kombis have names. You can register yours at following http://home.earthlink.net/~visket/Type2/BusNames.htm
Warren
Our Beetle is Malone - as in Bugsy.
Our current Bus is Gilly
My current daily driver is a 1975 kombi called "Ned" but that is because it's number plate used to be NED 70H which for the dyslexic is holden
spelt backwards,(and that in itself is another tale). Prior to that was "Bert" the beetle (a 68 bug) and i am currently eyeing off a 1970 vw which
looks very much like "Nancy"....
yes it's ok, the men in white coats have been alerted and are at this moment roaring up the dusty rd, but am i the only one?

My 1960 bugs name is Heidi (number plate HDY) seems to suit her very well...
Our green golf (currently in critical condition at the mechanics) is Kermit (once u see the colour everyone understands)
But then after that for our other cars its "the passat" or "the beemer" (or piece of junk car..) my sister came up with the theory that its only
the old volksies that deserve names...

All Registered except the Race car and Red Baja. The Red Baja is going to my Dad soon next summer after I fix it up a bit and I'm thinking about
wrecking the Race Baja.
We are also thinking of selling the Golf.
That will get rid of 3 Cars.
I'm sick of all these Cars.
I have to keep the Truck to pay for the Cars. |
