1st car, I think if the rust was at the back in the vent area and you really wanted to repair the shell , the best way would be too remove the section of roof panel that holds the vent slots. Drill out the lower spots on the rear window and cut the small section of steel at the top and botton of the last vent on each side. Then drill out the spots that hold the inner vent panel to the firewall (engine bay). This will allow you to access the inner vent area. In theory anyway.

Will be ready for the DOVW Cam. Will look pretty much like this I think. Will be adding 4.5 356 chromies to the front in the next couple of weeks. And that will be it for now.

Grey,
I like your trailer, is that a custom job or ready made?
It looks just the right size for a bug - something I've been thinking about for a while.
Did you get it somewhere in Melb?

Its a great trailer Kafer. Belongs to a very well know custom car shop in the south of melb. Built by them too. Used it to tow BugBoys Oval up to Valla Beach this year. Tows bewtiful.

Been adding a few more goodies.
356 chromies 4.5's on the front and 5.5's on the back. Pop outs are next.
