i thought i should bring them in a board bag, and then I can blame it on the baggage handlers at sydney...

Not sure how with a road trip.....but yes Sydney baggage handles have a big impact when they stuff up which goes way beyond the airport confines....

...ouch...that's no good...hate blisters on my fingers...you can't forget you got them...or if you do you're soon reminded :duh
...OK nearest thing to gunky stuff I can find for around wheels is brake paste...it stops them squeaking....but can that get messy on your mags...and
would it go like silastic type stuff ??? You clean it with off metho or clean hydraulic brake fluid...
Universal grease is used on nuts n thingies around that area...
Maybe someone just got messy around Edith's mags at one time with silastic...hey guys any clues...
