dave you definately are an inspiration to young dubbers as myself to keep on trying to achieve your dreams of seeing a vw mixing it with the best.

Thanks for being so helfull too when asked a question about tech stuff too.

i no i cant wait till i get out there doping that stuff.

Hi MIke,
Yes, they were "angle flow" Bug pack heads.
48 x 38 for a 4" bore(101.6mm). I bought them as bare castings and finished them over here.
I made the seats and guides from aluminium bronze, and made up an adapter (like the Berg one but longer) to suit the VW rocker covers.
Oh, and many hours of porting and chamber work.
I also welded up the stud holes and re drilled to suit the water boxer/ autocraft stud pattern.

Man as long as you are going to innovate this stuff ,when are you going to turn it into a business? we used some alloy seats also,berrilium ?,nice stuff,not only looks like gold,costs the same hahahah. Mike

Hiya Dave, I am running a 13bt and going to be expecting after dyno this thursday to be running around 28-300 hp. I am currently using a Rancho Pro Street Irs gearbox. Do you have any idea what I can use that will be stronger if this box dies. Are you in a position to build one stronger if I require/do you know who I can use for a stronger box. This is this cars Achilles heel and has had 2 other transaxles prior, one being a Super Diff from the states.
