yeah i will be making some calls/visits to both kurt and the veedub centre sometime this week anyway. will be sure to print out a copy of what was
seena nd hand it to them.
they could then post it up in their shop if they felt it fitting.

thought day time 11th was better actually, more chance for public to see the cars, some cars could promote the the whiteman park show the folowing
week, the organisers of whiteman show might even provide some funding to promote their gig if they were approached.
if it is to be for splitties only though, just say so from the get go

i think they mean that it would be good to have some splitties included, not solely splitties only.....bring anything vw or aircooled i don't think
dan would have a problem with it. But yeah agree perhaps a daytime cruise for the next one - don't leave it too late though danny we want the girlies
to still be wearing bikinis as they are joggin along west coast drive....ok, now i'm off on my own little 'baywatch' tangant :P

MarkMark has printed the flyers so this one stays as is... If you can't make, well that's a shame...
This was organised as a car cruise, not a cross promotion for someone elses event, it is not in conjuntion with, connected to, or associated with any
club or company...
If anyone wants to organise another run that will promote other people, shows, cruises or companies whilst still giving the participants the
opportunity to perve on women in swimsuits, be my guest..
But that's Not what I organised...

look back over the post. no one objected to the 11th, then suddenly the date was changed for no reason i can see, other than some hot headed reaction
to a comment that the following weekend was another event, which could just as easily been interpreted as "sounds great!!!"
check a previous comment previously also along the lines , it will be great to see lots of splitties in convoy.
from experience, no one gives a rats about anything other than the splitties, so why bother

considering the title of this thread is...get the BUGS out...im sure thats a play on words.
anywya..you should still go kombi69 as it would be good to see all diff vdubs cruising together.

Kombi69, There was ample time for people to object, Richard pointed out that the Whiteman Park thing was on and that had some bearing on it..
Several members are working on cars and by having the event a couple of weeks later, these others may have a better chance of attending...
Also this event has been promoted on Other Forums and the ultimate time frame descision was not left up to anyone on THIS site, but I will admit to
being biased in allowing the concerns of members HERE to have a greater bearing on the final date, as opposed to persons from other sites...
Several member here will confirm that for you...
Isn't it funny how some people only see what they WANT to see...

Every other brand of car has a cruise and lots of people go along and have a great time... Even Hyundia Excels..!!!
I'm sorry if this date does not fit in with your calender of events but you and everyone else were given ample time to object... There's no point
leaving it till after Mark has spent money out of his own pocket to print up flyers advertising the whole thing, on a date that (at the time) everyone
agreed on and as the date for the event draws closer and closer, it would be unfair to those that might be trying to get cars finished, to move it
forward by 2 weeks...
Now, I don't want to get into a whole argument scene with you about this, as, at the end of the day, it's Just a freakin' drive around, there are
no prizes, no trophies, nothing to gain except a bit of fun and a laugh...
So, I am sorry if you can't make it, I hope you have no hard feelings over this and trust you can move on and perhaps have your say in another,
similar event in the future...

if these events attracted and WELCOMED anyone with a VW maybe the turnout would be better.

you sure you're talking about the right town/state/country? I haven't met anyone like that. I'm only new to the whole scene but have hung out with
plenty of folk in the clubs as well as industry types and just dudes with dubs - I haven't come across a single wanker yet. In fact I reckon the
local scene is the most relaxed one I've experienced. you've obviously had some bad experiences and that's a shame.

how did you manage to put your personal vendettas into a cruise organised by danny that doesnt even drive a splitty?
he drives a BAJA...and incase you forgot..thats based on a BEETLE.
as previously mentioned the members on this forum that have shown interest in tending dont own splittys.
im sure we would like as many vdubs to go, however if you are going to attend and have a negative attitude towards everyone as you seem to now then i
personally would not enjoy your company.
THIS IS NOT A SPLITTY ONLY CRUISE AND IM SURE NO-ONE WILL BE SLANDERING/RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WHILE THEY ARE DRIVING AROUND THE CITY.
it is made for people to have a good time. however if people act in such a way that you have there will most likely cease to be any further
organisation of cruises in the future therefore ruining it for the rest of us.
please dont be selfish and just show up with a smile on ya dial.

No worries Danny, I'll drop them off to Moose as soon as I can. I printed off about 30, that should be enough. If you need more, we can just do some
normal photocopies.

this is some of the cars that will be going.....the closes I come to a split screen is a small crack in the side mirror from the tree I hit.....and
yes mine the real ugly baja. Also I still haven't washed it .....lol
