hey,
i've just a couple of quick questions:
are people buying the front speaker pod set-up's (the one's in the foot well's) or making them?
and as I have a square back, there isn't a great location to put a sub. Is it worth putting a smallish (10") sub under the back seat?
cheers

Do you have a pic taken a bit further back as it's really hard to get a scale on what size these are and where they are in the car!

The roof thing is so cool. I'm with you on the 'getting kicked in the doors'. I put pods similar to your roof ones in my door cards and getting in
and out was a bit more of an effort than it should of been.

One of the mtx woofers got water damaged [i think] so i replaced them with jay car woofers [possibly a downgrade,ha] Still using the mtx
tweeter+crossover-as pictured. Got ride of the pod things as well, always watched passengers hit their legs on it. Thought i'd need to angle the
speaker slightly upwards, but with the tweeters in the position they are in it was a waste of space/time.

Im very happy with the jay car ones [response]. The mtx prob did sound a little better, but the new speakers match the amps power to them.

Alpine PDX V9 amp + DEH 80 PRS Head Unit+ Hybrid Audio Tech front splits in custom fibreglass front kick enclosures + single Alpine SWR10D2 unported
sub with custom volume enclosure = holy shit.
Pics to follow if anyone wants to see, but it's still in pieces waiting on windows and hoodliner and finished wiring and carpet and stuff
