I've cut up a kombi as well. But it was only a matter of time before it turned into a flinstone car as the floor rusted through and dropped out.
1. The kombi will only become valuable when there are few left.
2. We're enhancing the gene pool, getting rid of the junkers that give us a bad name.
3. In 20 years, the cost of converting to hydrogen power will be just too damn great to make kombis a viable option.

Well number 6 started today the engine is out, over the next few weeks it will be striped.
The pan or should I say what pan lots of rust, the body there is more rust and bog than metal body
I think this one has been stored at one time with the windows open very sad , at least it parts may help other type 3's live longer.

hmmm.. yeah... bodgy bog people suck.... a little bit of bog is tolerable... but when over half a car is made of bog, it mkes me want to get the lazy
sod and jam bog right up there... [insert most humourous orifice here... each to his own you know..]
A '72 Bay I looked at buying before I found Buttercup (same day actually) didnt have any visible rust, however it was full of bog along almost the
full length of the body, starting at the bttom of the sills and going up as far as the level of the top of the rear arches!... rather sickening. good
engine and chassis, but crappy body and even crappier interior. :cussing
and he was wantin 2000ish for it, unregoed, unblueslipped. :jesus
It had more or les had bucketloads of brown stuff chopped out and filled with bog, then had obviously been shoddily repainted all over with some
really bad paint... nice color, and pretty tidy looking... but in the end... just another turd-polishing attempt.

i can think of 7 but i think i'm missimg one or two. all beetles so far.
56 had been sitting on its side for about 20 years. striped of anything good then given to me.
58 oval parts donor. in hindsight brobably shouldn't have cut it.... oh well.
59 donated it's front clip to my 56 after i pranged it. prob shouldn't have cut this one either but all i could think of was my baby.
60 rusty to the point that with the doors open you could see through the sills from top to bottom, came with lots of nice bits though.
67 wish i hadn't cut this one.... some rust but not that much... i was young and foolish
67 i bought it for it's bumpers... terminal rust.
68 semi auto. had had a roll top cut into it :puke then had lived one block from the ocean for a number of years. nasty.
next time you cut a car up try a mattock (sp) it's lots of fun. a sledgehammer is also satisfying...
