Oh Jess.... :kiss so sorry to hear.
What can we do for you ?...tell us what you need..
If you are going to rebuild her, let us all know.
Many here on the forum may have donor spare parts for you to do this.
If not & she is written off by the insurance co,. tell us what you plan to do & we will help out as much as we all can.
Keep us posted.

:o oh no! jess that is absolutely terrible :cry
when my car just failed its pink slip i nearly burst into tears right there in front of the mechanic, I cannot imagine how you feel at the moment...(I dont know if my story really has any relevance...but i tried?)
everything will be ok in the end, you have alot of people around you which are willing to help as much as they possibly can which will be very nice
its so lucky you weren't hurt as well :sandrine (physically anyway)
don't give up though, i dont think jasmine would want you to yet!
i hope it all starts working out nice and good for you sweetie

Oh no!!!....this suddenly makes me feel very bad about all the shit I was heaping on L-bugs the other day! :cry

Glad your OK Jess... Bug's can be replaced but Jess's can't. :)

But I'm sure replacing Jasmine entirely won't warrent thinking about... after seeing some of the smashed Kombi's that get repaired and end up back on the road better than ever, I reckon Jas' will come out of this just fine in the end! ;) Chin up! :tu:

I think I am going to fix my dicky handbrake cables and bleed the brakes tomorrow... :o

I can't beleive it! I saw Jasmine just Thursday night!
I seriously wasn't expecting that phone call from Jace... It surely wasn't the time for stabby stab.
Just think Jess, everything happens for a reason... with Jasmine it could be the fact that she'll come back better, prettier and more special than before.
I'll give you an MSN hug! ({)

hmmm......please...

Every girl knows when the boys are doing it all wrong...its when he goes..."whoops!"...and then they all quickly move around and try to hide the evdience...pmsl...

Its such a pity so many things seem to have gone wrong at once. ur puter dies...the car...ur room.

Well, tomorrow u find out where u stand with a payment, and hopefully it will all get sorted quickly from there. Do u have salvage rights on Jasmine? If so, they wont tow her. And if u dont..well...just ask the towie where he's taking her, and go we'll all help you go raid her once she arrives the other end, so her spirit go on. Even if your forced to take on a different body/pan

Do u have a car to use in between?

Sending u hugs...keep us posted and just hollar if u need help with anything, including recommendations for smash repairers. (working in the trade kinda helps :))

well guys its jess on jace's account just borrowing it while my computer gets fixed...just thought i should tell you all everything thats been going on..monday the tow truck driver finally got off his ass and came and got my car at like 6.30-7 at night even though i had waited all day for him..took my car away to the insurance company to get assessed.. they kept in contact with mum but the news made me extremely pissed..they not only wrote my car off but they whre only going to give me $1000 for my car even though it was insured for more but thats ok..after my blood pressure had nearly boiled my mum haggeled with them to get the price up because they had hardly even looked at my car to see the actual damage...i dont know exactly what they gave me for my car but i really couldnt care at the moment...now because i want my car back i have to write a stupid letter to them stating i want to buy it back and the price im willing to pay for it..at this stage where keeping it at a low amount..and the amount we said to the guy he said to us that they most likely wll give it to me for that price....will not know anything more until they get back to me..but fingers crossedddddd
love jess

hey jess..
i can sorta relate to your incident as today i got out of my daily driver (yaris)
forgot to pull on handbrake :o
started to jump out and noticed the car rolling backwards toward the neighbours house
and jumped in and quickly reefed on handbrake.. (i thought id nearly ripped it out of the car)
first thing i thought of was your situation..
can happen to anybody hey
im just lucky that no damage happened..
could of been a pet or child in the road of the car.. good greif! :o

oh that sucks! big companies are always pains to deal with, but i'm glad you mum could get a better price for you ($1000 sounds like very little for a bug so nice and purpley :o). I hope it all turns out well (as i'm sure it will), with a bit of luck, some help from nice friendly people and some determination, Jasmine will pull through:kiss
