Its an aussie 64, has the australia only steering column, interior(vinyl salt'n'pepper), beetle armrests on the doors, bullets, no
overriders, partially lined boot, bug ashtrays in the rear, thin paint...the list goes on. I would not be surprised if the underside of the doors are
rusty and the heater channels in the foot wells as they were never painted properly. nevertheless a great find and if it was stored well(beside the
crappy paint which has obviously turned to sh** without any effort), it should still be solid.

She's solid but if I was a buyer I would rub back and paint any obviose rust traps before putting her back on the road.
I'm in two minds wether to buy this car for myself the interior is cleaning up real nice might have to roll her to the back of the shed and wait a
few years then maybe give her a full resto once my bank account recovers from restoring the oval.

I'd sell it and find a more authentic car, like a 1500s sunroof notch or and early car upto ch 138774(62 or earlier). All of the early cars had
'made in W Germany 'on their body tags whether they were german built or not. What defines the aussie cars is the use of certain parts( or lack
thereof) and the lack of build quality.
If you are still not sure, look at the wire connectors under the dash, if you see a VW with a kangaroo on either side of it stamped on the plastic
connectors. A chassis number will determine when it was built with the use of a factory parts list.
