actually, I have been emailing Nathan at heavy and he has been very happy to answer any queries I have had. amendments have been made since this post
including allowing upto 1979 kombis

im pretty sure we know Australia's fastest kombi and a 2L vw bay built for 10g's aint gonna come close
are the thousands n thousands of splits really rare???

I'm 100% sure, I was working in VW dealers at the time, I'm old.
The GA, GB & GC motor was from a 914 Porsche, not a bay.

Hi,
My 1975 Double Cab has a CJ 2.0 motor, the original. It might be different for Double Cabs, possibly.
The Haynes (US) manual says "... introduced in August 1975, the [2.0] engine ..."
