Sioux,,, i can build you a R1 powered hill climb special if you like , would you like it turbo charged or not? ;-)
11cab,,, i do treat my kombi with quite a fair bit of aggression ,,, it does usually carry 5 or 6 people & 5 or 6 down hill mountain bikes &
all the body armour & tools & spares & water & esky & & & & Then we thrash it up & down hills all day, nearly
every weekend,,, so yeah it gets hammered,,, so approx 2500kgs being thrashed up dirt fire trails & toowoomba range & places like that maybe
20 times per day per weekend. I`m not going to say anything about anyone elses lexus powered duel cab kombi because i have no idea how they treat
theirs,,, but i know what mine cops every week,,, including dragging off ferraris & V8 commodores nearly every day :-) sorry but yeah i`m a nut
case ,,, i will make this thing able to handle twin turbos & i certainly am looking at making it 4x4 too
Lockrite diff & full Albins gear kit should be here this week,,, the turbo 4x4 porsche gearbox is being investigated as i type :-)
I think i`ll just take all the rubber matting out for now, i`ve no "NEED" to make it lightweight,,, as it happenes i`d rather it a bit heavy cause
it holds the road quite nice at 200kms/h--> (for a kombi that is)
I was just surprised by it`s Fatness because it goes so hard,,, the donk must have a fair bit more than stock :-)
Andrew,,, it`s not just a Matt thing,,, I`ve seen your Baja bus :-)

Yeah, it must be a "Matt" thing,,, Might pay to do a survey to see how big/heavy the right foot is on each Matt we meet :-)
Brenden,,, who was it that owned the white jacked up kombi around Creastmead way a few years ago ??? ( he was a relative to Your unkle John so he must
be either you or one of your cousins) I used to drop into a mates place for some machining work in the same street as him & i did pop in one
time & say hello.

Brenden,,, Think it was a bus, but it may have been a duely,,, dam i have forgotten, i am gettin old & senile you know,,, too much pressure, how
many seconds left till i have to answer ??? :-) i`ll go with a bus for now,,, dam multiple choice questions allways stuff me up :-) Crestmead isn`t a
big suburb really,,, or is it??? :-)
Caffinepusher,,, it`s not high enough for me ,,, it needs bigger wheels tyres too... & i`m not going to make myself smaller,,, i like it when i`m
big & hard :-)
I don`t mind the weight so much really, it does help it stay stable at high speeds,,, just means that 2 little BB turbos will need to be fitted to
counter-act the fatness :-)
Sioux,,, did you get my e-mail?
