Good effort Rose, what times and speeds did you run?
On another note,
would you believe that Aaron dove that black kombi to the track ,
and then after the event, returned the three hours home.
Awesome car and engineering!!

Yes Lee we had a good little trip about 19 hours all up, we all had fuel trouble just as we got over the boarder .Debs 70 bug stopped and I had to
change the fuel pump and blow and suck the fuel lines to get fuel flowing yum yum, then Roses car started running on one carbie , lucky she has two
, when we got to Warwick we changed all the fuel filters as Roses and debs was blocked.

Hi
This was my 1st Warwick and it wont be my last. Top job from all the organisers who were friendly and helpful, the VW people as always are great to be
around. It was good to put some faces to the names
Nowhere near Aaron's feat of driving to and from the event, but we drove all the way from Sydney, raced and drove back at around 80kph as my sons on
his Ls. We have to log every trip in his log book, we even put a few trips down Morgan Park in it.

Great photo! If you look closely you can almost see the expletives coming out of my mouth a split second after realising I just siezed Rod's
(Richardson) 1916 engine on the start line.....whilst Rod Penrose powers off the line

I thought the door flew open with all the preasure from your yelling and cussing inside.
Wouldn't worry Das.
Rod and pete are top blokes. Don't think they would blame you for what happened to it.
Looks like you have some skilled hands, like dangerous dave willing to look after it for you to get it back into shape.
This is what i like about you drag racers, Your all an awsome little part of the VW community always willing to help another out. Top marks to you
all for the weekend
