This is from a house down the road. From what we can estimate, they had over 300mm of water in the garage and house.

And this is a neighbours driveway (what remains of it), the other is half the road that is now in the front yard of the house it used to be in front of.

can anyone reccomend a company that do small garage sheds
They even use a shed as an example...20m x 15m shed suffered no damage at all
Bloody hell, you blokes sure coped it up there, been on all the news broadcasts down here in the south land, hope all is ok.
As for sheds, if you are serious then I would contact any local GARAGE WORLD outlet, yep, I am sorta associated with them but not up there and if you check it out you will find that they are the only ones who didn't loose a shed in the cyclone you had up there recently, I would bet that the shed mentioned above is one of theirs. Hope you all get it back together soon.

By no means belittling what has happened in SEQ this last week, but for some perspective... this is a friend of a friend's house and splitty in Galveston, Texas after Ike a few months back.

Went down a few minutes ago and took the blankets off her, no damage yay but water running out of both doors.

The lightning show was spectacular, and the hail well that was a bit nerve wracking, all in all we only had minor flooding of the
back room again ( my son is loving sleeping on the lounge he thinks he's camping :D )

So we've been pretty lucky in comparison to others :tu:

I thought I would try to get one with the Baja in it, but the storm was a bit far north for a really good shot...

I can see this thread being added to each week untill april 09 the way it's going.
By the way, what camera setting or speed are you using for lightning shots?

A Canon 450D for the lastest pics. 2-5 second exposure for the day time lightning depending on how dark it got during the storms. 30 second exposure for the night time lightning.
