have to see if a driver seat from out of one of our other bugs will fit.

good work Rose!! lol looks like you'll be my competition/racing partner at warwick..... see how my gearbox goes too... im running a 1500 gearbox with a superdiff....... hmmmmm we'll see

Sounds good I'll give you a run I'll be happy if I can get a 10.5sec pass from good old Buz.

I'll let you know how I go when I have a test run at Gunnedah in a couple of weeks.

Well mine is an old 6volt gear box and the bell housings been grinded away to fit the 1916 with a 12 volt flywheel in and an old standard vw clutch out of another bug:crazy::lol:

not too worried about the time i run (although i wouldnt complain if i got a good ET:) ) ill be happy to not break anything on my car.... the set up is new and untested so it will be interesting to see what happens... cant wait:crazy::dork:

Rose , you need to through away all the extra weight . Bumbers ,interior ,side glass, anything that isn't used for racing !Less weight will look after clutch and box !

Yeah the bumpers are coming off and also the seats inside as well. It's all heaps of fun. I love it. Well I don't weigh much either I'll just keep Ian out of it:lol::lol:

Rose, if you do use a stinger then make sure you go up in your jets............otherwise you will lean out!

I do have a stinger to go on it.
At the moment with the exhaust that's on it, it shoots flames out of it with a muffler on it :lol:
