jason the 1/4" efi fuel line works well in vws

that genuine vw stuff was fine 20 years ago but by todays standards it sux
very thin single wall with no reinforcing which kinks easy and cloth braiding covers any problems

new EFI hose is alot thicker, double walled and reinforeced

i spent half an hour under the decklid of a mates bug on the side of the pacific hiway coming home from winterbreak a few years ago
the original fuel lines had perished badly but the braiding covered it up
well till it let go near coffs harbour....

best to buy anything for Your beetle from a VW shop...
like mick Motors - Vintage vee dub - etc...

I buy all my stuff from VW shops and the closest is over
150kms from where i live...

cheers

Yes, that's what i'm putting it down to. I should have checked after each thing i did to see if it fixed the problem in hindsight. I'm just happy she goes normally now and it didn't cost me anything apart from a few hairs being pulled

Now taking donations to help make a Beetle healthy again
