Not yet troy, I will be pulling out her engine and 010 auto this weekend. I'll strip the box and replace all the clutches, band and planetary gears with audi 200turbo items. I want to try and make a trans brake aswell. As for the engine, it'll just get bolt on's (turbo, wastgate ex-manifold ect.)

Your date with matty would be getting closer, yeah!

Seen the black Kombi run at warwick 07, spine tingling stuff.

Love any fast kombi, let alone one that can blow the doors off a Porsche.

I've got my thinking cap on, well, this is just a thorght to save albins from getting all my money, and they told me i could still brake there AGB 11.5 diff.

So here it is!!!

2L kombi bellhousing or s5 rx7
Porsche G64 6sp gearbox stoping at the pinion retainer(no diff housing as all)
9'' diff with yoke joining to porsche pinion shaft, which can be machined down and a slide on flange.

you have to have an imagination because $23000 doesn't cone easy.

Hmmmmmm.
That could work.
Try Harrop for a comlpete 9" IRS diff.
Aussie made.

Might have to dream up how and where to carefully position the input shaft hole?!

You could join the "cut-off pinion shaft" with the 9" pinion spline,
by using a simple spilned sleeve.

May have to roll the gearbox section over a little
to clear the inputshaft and diff's ring gear.

My neighbour has a 9'' which i can get the sizing. May be able to run the input shaft still through but underneith the diff, because of tyre size and the lowered bus. Yes i thaught the box may have to tilt a little and alinment of the pinion has to be perfect.
Thaught a pinion retainer plate and bellhousing plate large enough to frame them together and suport the diff housing inside.

Ive been building bec's type 3 the last few weeks (members rides) http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=76445
