wife and kids got me a rear swaybar for the S Beetle. Not real impressed with the way it attaches to the torsion tubes but really impressed with the way the car handles.

The kids got me this pressed metal Herbie complete with painted on surface rust. They couldn't resist getting it for me, and it takes pride amongst my other Beetle models. The car measures 1 ft in length.

Actually looking back now at the time of the post, and the fact there are about 12 empty bottles lying around, I really had no idea what I was talking about at the time.

I actually got a T shirt with a surf kombi on it, and a jar of chocolate coated nuts.

Well I got myself this 57 rat bug ,

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v419/montem/rusty%20oval/Ianoval188.jpg

but then another unfinished 54 bug came up for sale, so Rose got the shiny 54 to play with and I had to resell the rat 57 on Ebay and lucky I got what I paid for it, so all is sweet.
