I think you're right Lee, never seen type 3 wheels wide 5 with slots.

they all been solid as far as I have seen.

How many 66-67 Beetle rims like this do you wanna see before you believe me? ;)

There are 1000s of 66 and 67 Beetles out there with these types of rims.
We just didnt get them in Aus so not many people knwo about them.

Btw, most Prefect and anglia wheels are 16" and have a totatlly different slot pattern, as do 356 Porsche rims.

I think that it may be a '65 Beetle wheel after seeing this;

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Yeah, cos 65 beetles came with chrome 5.5 rims.....:lol:

Those ones are just the knock off 356 chrome mangles made in Brazil
