Had to ramp the pan up to allow a bit of room to strip and repaint the underside today. Lots of fun...not.

The line and swage-lock NPT fittings are good for up to 20,000psi (no $hit - they are originally for gas lines)...so they will handle the 3.5psi quite adequately!

With the tight fit of the breather box you can see why all those trial fits were necessary! Wouldn't want to find out now that something didn't fit!

The oil pressure sender relocation line from aircooled.net allowed me to mount the sender tucked in next to the shroud for a sano appearance. (as it wouldn't fit due to the oil lines running through the shroud).

Same mate who has helped in previous posts tidied up the brake lines for me - he is a perfectionist....so c'mon Alan (same name as me just in case you're confused)...time to get your beetle back on the road! You can see my highly technical steering stop zip-tied on - this is still my stock width beam - narrowed one to be trial fitted when I get my shortened tie rod back from Custom Offroad.

Okay that brings us up to date pretty much. More sound deadener has gone in, carbs are back off, some dash bits in as well. Will update pics soon. Please don't crash again :duh

I thought that actually....like I have fancy lighting and tricky lenses and stuff. But alas just got lucky with the old 2 megapixel digital camera and natural light. If only I could have some hot chicks from the jeans adds draped over it, that would be nice. Of course I'd just be briefly glancing at them (my wife might check this forum, better be careful). :kiss

Alan,
If you put it on a trailer unfinished as it is and brought it down to the Nationals, I'd reckon you'd walk away with some silverware.

Looks great.

Here you can see the retractable seat belts (attached to roll cage) and sound deadening applied to the floor pan.

All that guam you can see in the door is wax I sprayed into all the cavities - the stink is just starting to subside. Should do the job well though. :puke
