I wish Australian defamation laws were closer to actual practice in the community.
For every threat we get, I'd really like to be able to say something rude and nasty, but instead we start thinking about whether our houses are on
the line ... again ... for a post barely anyone saw (and many of them I don't get to see - so quick are some of the thread deletions).
The only thing I know for sure is that fat cat lawyers will get richer. They're probably on the phone right now to get that jacuzzi installed in the
pool boy's 50 square "cabin" by winter to keep wife #4 happy. I sure as hell know that although the pool boy might have a more comfy place to screw
the boss's wife when its cold, both the litigant and us will be far, far poorer no matter which way it turns out.
I'm so close to pressing the "off" switch. I know Jim is, as well.

hey everyone!
just got home from mossvale (hours drive) working at a wedding reception. i got hit on by the bride's daughter! hell yeah! she was hot too! and i now
have her number. The bride had a photo of her and the groom in front of my dud dub! i was so honoured
a 14 year old girl got so drunk she fell over twice (olds were feeding her booze not me) and the 'ghost' theme song came on a couple went to their
room to shag... eeew!
on the way home a long patch of recently tarred road kicked a rock into one of my disk brakes... now i need to get that replaced. stopped in mittagong
on the way home to pick up smokes to find a bloke gettin put n the back of a paddy wagon for harassment.
all in all a fun night, 5pm-1am shift at a much better rate than the teaching gig gives me enough money to fix my dub in one night. im sending a u2u
to clarkey to buy the bits i need off of him right now, then another to pyro to buy his services.
so andrew whats the dealio with the defamation thingo?
