Dak-A-Tak shed
Love looking at everyones different types of sheds.
My shed is all steel 9mtr by 6mtr with 12mtr carport on the back side. Saving up for concrete slab at front for another carport. Have just finished
loft in middle roof part of shed ( paint yet ). More pics soon.

Mine is 30 x 10 x 3.5 metres and has been a pain in the arse for a long time-so have spent the last 2 months reorganising the whole thing with
dedicated areas for all the stuff I do.Had 5 trips to the dump with the ute and my 7X4 trailer full(one trip I had the trailer fully loaded with scrap
glass from my Leadlighting stuff)Have an area for the Leadlighting and clockrepairs, another for the lathe, drill press, bandsaw and 2 grinders(one with
wire wheels and stones on the other)Have a bench area for mechanical stuff with a parts washer and my tooltrolleys.Have a dedicated welding area with
Mig,Tig,stick and oxy.Have a solid steel bench with a 10mm steel top for welding.Have put all my woodworking stuff along 1 wall so I can plumb a dust
extraction system(have got the unit but need to make all the pipe work)The reason this started-3 months ago I ordered a new 2 post car hoist and
needed the room-so stuff had to go.The hoist has assymetrical arms so I can open the car doors easier when on the hoist,so it had to be ordered and
took way longer than promised(it arrived in Adelaide last Friday). The shed had old solid sliding doors which were a pain to open-so I used one for a
petition for the welding area and put up 2 new roller doors.I am part way thru building a dust proof room across one end of the shed to keep 2 cars
clean and with storage upsairs.Have got all the Gyproc to line the whole thing and some grey 2 pac paint for the floor-so should be 2 less cars to
have to constantly wash.Hopefully the whole thing will user friendly in the next few months.I have promised myself that it will never end up all
cluttered with shit like it was B4.

Finally finished all the frames for the sealed room-fitted an access door and will have a fixed window in the centre to let in some light.Have started
on the up top storage-done 3x2.4 metres so far just to get some of the shit up out of the way. Will be doing a heavy duty
[img]
[/img] 3x3metre section in the middle to take pallets so I can
store sprare motors and all the heavy stuff-can use a Fork to lift pallets up and then slide stuff around.Need to hurry up so I can get all the shit
up top to clear the floor area so I can erect my hoist.

Here's my shed. I share it with a couple of others. One of them is a crazy VW freak, with a Bug he has cut a giant sunroof into. I think he is gonna
restore it as a Herbie, or maybe one of those hot looking Poraga kits!! Cooooooool....
The busses are my babies.

This is what I do with my busses.

Sorry guys i mistakenly thought you typed "Herpie"!! This may have a nice big hole in the roof, but cut out its not. You are a shit stirrer
hammers!! You cant quite see the beast pulling a wheel stand, just out of shot.
With the fuel injected monster 1916 in it i reckon she push ol "Herpie" along.
